Linda Nolan brings show business to Barnsley

We’re preparing to welcome show business stalwart Linda Nolan to our most glamourous fundraiser of the year.

Linda, whose wealth of experience includes hit records, international television shows, major world concert tours and appearances with the world’s most popular superstars, will take centre stage at the ‘Dining Divas’ event at the Holiday Inn in Dodworth on Saturday 11 November.

The star replaces Sherrie Hewson as guest speaker at the afternoon fundraiser, which also includes a prosecco reception, two-course lunch and shopping opportunities with luxury retailers.

Sue Miller, our income generation manager, said: “No-one knows show business like Linda and we can’t wait to hear her share her memories and experiences of life in the limelight. Of course, we’re hoping to hear plenty of gossip too!”

Linda enjoyed worldwide success when touring with her sisters as The Nolans, and in recent years she has graced the stage in the West End and in performances across the UK. She appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 and makes regular appearances on ITV’s Loose Women.
