Barnsley school raises festive funds for hospice

Pupils at Kirk Balk Academy in Hoyland raised £1,115 for the hospice by holding a Christmas Jumper Day and raffle.

Vicky Stead, our community fundraising team leader, was presented with a cheque by pupils Coburn Lee Powell, Samuel Vickers, Ellie Chipchase and Paige Kirk, alongside Year Nine Learning Manager Mr Mallin.
