Location: Silkstone Golf Club
Registration: Team registrations for this year’s Golf Day have now closed

Get ready for a TEE-rific day of fundraising! Our annual Golf Day returns on Friday 9 May at Silkstone Golf Club and we’re thrilled to have over 22 teams signed up to take part.

Last year’s event raised over £10,000 for Barnsley Hospice, and we’re hoping 2025 will be another record-breaking year of fun, friendly competition and un-FORE-gettable fundraising.

On the day, teams will take to the 18-hole course before rounding things off with a pie and pea supper. We’ll also be running a raffle and fun challenges like ‘Hit the Green’ and ‘Hole in One’ to keep the excitement going.

Although team registration for our 2025 Golf Day is now closed, there are still plenty of ways you can get involved and help make a difference on the day.

We’re always incredibly grateful for support from our wider community, and there are lots of ways you can lend a helping hand—even if you’re not swinging a club!

Whether you’re able to donate a raffle prize, contribute refreshments or support in another way, your generosity will play a vital role in making the day a success and raising much-needed funds for the specialist palliative care at Barnsley Hospice.

If you’d like to get involved, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Fundraising team at fundraising@barnsley-hospice.org—we’d love to hear from you!

This much-loved event wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our long-term sponsor, Lifetime Financial Planners, who have now sponsored Golf Day for an incredible 13 years running.

“As a community, we are incredibly proud and grateful to Barnsley Hospice for the compassionate care they provide. We’re delighted to support their fundraising activities and see the funds raised go towards vital patient care.”
