Are you looking for an action-packed challenge to test your fitness and support Barnsley Hospice in 2025? If so, the Total Warrior could be the perfect event for you!

As one of the UK’s biggest obstacle course events, the Total Warrior‘s 12k course has 25 unique obstacles to take on! These include the ‘Leap of Faith’, ‘The Plunge’ and the ‘Cement Mixer’.  

This challenge is a great way to keep motivated in achieving your fitness goals and have fun, whilst knowing that the money you raise will help us make a real difference to local people and their families.

Important Information

Please note that the Total Warrior challenge event is a tough 12 km obstacle race, making it the perfect challenge for those who have a good level of fitness and can climb, swim, and complete 25 obstacles. You must be prepared to undertake the necessary training beforehand. 

If you have a pre-existing medical condition which could affect you during the challenge, please consider the difficulty and seek medical advice before registering. If you have any further questions about the challenge, please get in touch with our fundraising team before signing up.

The event providers, Total Warrior, state that anyone taking part in the 12K course must be at least 16 years old. Anyone aged 16 or 17 will need to run the event accompanied by an adult aged 18+. You can find out more on their website.

How can I get involved?

Complete the form below and pay the £40 registration fee to sign up. Spaces are limited so we’d recommend signing up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment and ensure you have enough time to train. We will then be in touch to confirm that we have booked your place at the Total Warrior event and give you all the fundraising tools and advice to smash your sponsorship target!

This challenge can also be completed by corporate groups. If your workplace and colleagues would like to take on the Total Warrior in 2025, get in touch with the fundraising team and we can help secure your team’s spots.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to pay for the event?

No, the cost of your place is covered by the sponsorship you raise. The minimum sponsorship is £150 and the more you raise, the more you will support us in our mission to ensure we’re there for the people of Barnsley when they need it most.

Can I do it with a team?

Absolutely, doing challenges as a team is a great way to keep each other motivated. We can register teams of 4+ people and the minimum sponsorship is still £150 per person, with a £20 registration fee each when signing up. If you would like to sign up as a team, please email hannah.clarkson@barnsley-hospice.org.

Do you provide transport to the event?

No, Barnsley Hospice does not provide transport to Bramham Park, and supporters will need to make their way to and from the event.
