Alison joined the Board of Trustees in November 2017 and is currently the Vice-chair of the Governance and Quality Committee.
She has extensive experience of working in the NHS including working for Barnsley CCG in commissioning and most recently for Barnsley Healthcare Federation in governance. Prior to retiring in 2023, Alison worked for three years at Barnsley Council as Corporate Governance and Assurance Manager.
As well as being married with two adult children, Alison lives on a smallholding in the Barnsley area and has a flock of sheep, chickens, two cats and a dog. Other interests include playing violin in the Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra, learning the cello and gardening.
