June joined our Board of Trustees in November 2022.
June retired in April 2020, following a 36-year career in the NHS, where her last role was Associate Chief Nurse, Head of Midwifery Nursing and Professions at a local Trust.
Her background is clinical in nursing and midwifery. Throughout June’s career, she progressed into leadership roles and gained a vast amount of experience in risk management, governance and assurance, systems and processes. She has worked at board and strategic level.
Part of June’s work portfolio included being the Trust lead for end of life care. She has attention to detail and enjoyed supporting or leading on improvements and new innovations. Throughout her career, June has been involved in several CQC inspections and led on action planning following review.
June has held board level roles, including chairing and leading on several committees and significant projects for the Trust and externally working in partnership across the wider Integrated Care System. She was also a Staff Governor.
She lives in Worksop and has three sons and a cat called Monty. Her hobbies include DIY, gardening, walking and fitness.
