Tom is a proud ‘Barnsley lad’ who has more than 15 years’ corporate finance experience spanning a breadth of industries. As a Chartered Accountant, Tom works with one of the country’s biggest mobile phone provider companies and has helped oversee one of the biggest mergers in British business history and has also worked in motor trade finance and manufacturing.
Tom, who lives in Worsbrough, joined the Board of Trustees in September 2023. Tom says: “I am positive and energetic, and I hope to bring this to the board of trustees along with my corporate finance experience to ensure that this fantastic Barnsley institution is here serving our beautiful town for longer than I am on this planet for! Aside from my work commitments and being a proud trustee for Barnsley Hospice, I can also be found attending matches at Oakwell and playing golf in my spare time.”
